What are your thoughts on low morale in the military?
MSN recently posted an article from the business insider stating that despite $287 million morale in the military is still at an all time low. What are your thoughts on this?

With that said, there's no reason why ppl should be hating their job, their station their anything... It's up to the individual to be motivated and be pumped to better themselves!!! Irregardless of mos and situation! That's why we are all here for each other at the end of the day

ENS Jeremy Medlen has it correct! Think about all the cuts the government is making to the military, whether it's personnel or benefits, they're cuts that directly affect us all. Deployments are lessening, annual raises are at an all time low... I enjoy my job & want to go active but the truth is, being an enlisted active duty service member isn't what it used to be.

For me, I can answer the question easy. We allow civilians to run the military while allowing pass through Generals at the Pentagon go around around the world pretending to be leaders.
It is time to stabilize senior military leaders and quit moving them every two years. Make them do their job and prove they earned their rank.

The sad thing is that at the Pentagon, the Generals are put in positions they know nothing about, for example a fighter pilot in the IT functional. The civilians know they will maintain control. It pisses me off that you have military leaders not take charge and fix the system.
