Great post. All "baby boomers" remember the three channel networks and the shows we watched
back then. I grew up in the 1950's watching "Gunsmoke" every Saturday night. There was Have gun will travel, M-Squad, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, Sky King, Lassie, The Lone Ranger, Superman and so many more memories you brought back with your post. Thanks Scott.

Man you are the first person I know that remembered Sky King.. I loved it. Also Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. I know that I watched in B&W then dad got an RCA color. The B&W had quite working, so I took it, you remember when Sears and Robuck had the RCA tube testers I took all the tubes and rode my bike there tested all the tubes found the bad tube, bought a new one. Went home plugged them in a had a TV in my room, pissed off my sister. LoL

Cpl Scott McCarroll - I liked Rowen & Martin's Laugh-In and REALLY liked
Goldie Hawn the young blonde go-go dancer with the body paint. The old B&W TV's that the tubes would go out and you would have to replace them. I remember the first color TV my father brought home. Sky King and Penny were a good pair.
