I really enjoyed that movie. It has some parts of it that are hard to watch, but that is part of good story telling. When I was a kid, my family had an opportunity to meet Tom Selleck. We were in Hawaii, it was during the Magnum PI days. We were coming out of a restaurant, he was going into the restaurant. He held the door for my mom as she was coming out, and wished us a good evening. Didn't go all crazy or anything, it was just a moment. What makes it stick out though was that a TV star was a decent person. He was courteous, which is a contradiction to the way a lot of these hollywood types act.

Selleck has been great in many of his various roles.......but his cowboy roles are the best! Quigley Down Under is one of my all time favorite westerns. Some great lines in there......"Said I didn't have much use for a pistol.......never said I couldn't use one"..........."This ain't Dodge City, and you ain't Bill Hickock".........love him in his current role as the NYC police commissioner on Blue Bloods too.

Well, Lieutenant... - Major!
Major, we already run the misfits out of our country.
We sent 'em back to England.

SSgt Gary Andrews I agree he is good as the NYPD Commissioner. And there are a bunch of great lines. As you and Sgt Wayne Wood have pointed out.

I love this guy as an actor. He probably is one of the best “modern” actors in the Westen role.
