Good song.
Not sure what the point was marrying it up to video from "Tour of Duty". I don't think I've ever seen a Huey hover that close to stationary (and definitely not over a working LZ).

What you post is generally interesting, PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, even when I don't what made it interesting to you.
My expressed confusion was more about potential reasons why the YouTuber who made that compilation silently chose Hollywood over reality. Glancing over his other videos, I see videos from games plus a couple of other movie-sourced, and none showing reality.
Just considered it worth commenting about, one son of a not-senator to another....

A QUOTE FROM THE COMMENTS-"My grandpa did 2 tours in Nam, I believe 65-67. He fought under the 82nd Airborne. He was a major history buff and he's the reason I became one b/c of all the incredible experiences and stories he told me of his time over there. A lot of the stuff he taught me about Nam and other major wars is never covered in school so it gave me a newfound appreciation and respect for American history. He taught me all about showing respect and how its earned at a very young age and it's stuck with me ever since. He fought through a historical and devastating conflict, I can only imagine what his eyes laid upon him...
He told me whenever he leaves this earth that I could have dog tags. Sadly he passed away 4 years ago, he was 79. I've worn his tags proudly ever since. Not out of respect just for him, but for all our troops who served. Thank you Grandpa and all of our troops, gone but not forgotten
