Good Afternoon my Brothers and Sisters!
For those of you with an interest in Space, our Solar System and beyond, I bring you a new NASA Mission, which NASA has named LUCY..., Which was launched a few days ago... LUCY will study Asteroids which reside at two of the five Lagrangian points, which I have shared a week or so earlier, but will be covered in my next video about the details of LUCY...
This video is a short introduction to the NASA "LUCY" Mission and which will last some 10 plus years...
Here is what NASA wrote in the description of this Educational Video...
"Launching in late 2021, Lucy will be the first space mission to explore the Trojan asteroids. These are a population of small bodies that are left over from the formation of the solar system. They lead or follow Jupiter in their orbit around the Sun, and may tell us about the origins of organic materials on Earth.
Lucy will fly by and carry out remote sensing on six different Trojan asteroids and will study surface geology, surface color and composition, asteroid interiors/bulk properties, and will look at the satellites and rings of the Trojans."
I hope you enjoy it...
Kerry

Saw something recently that they're having issues with the solar panels.

Yes, and that is the discussion in my next video (Just posted), titled "NASA's Lucy Mission Just Launched, But It's Already in Trouble"...

Sgt (Join to see) Very cool and interesting. When I saw the title I immediately thought of Lucy, the first humanoid subject. Some amazing discoveries have been found over the last several decades.

The mission was actually named LUCY in association with the first humanoid subject..

Sgt (Join to see) - I saw that! I was just commenting that the title itself made me think of Lucy the first humanoid before I even watched the video.
