That's the real trick, I think. Having time to cook the right things, instead of settling for the ultra-processed "fast" stuff...

And portion size is the other important piece of this. We downsized our plates so that things are now human sized.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - We also downsized and usually now one have breakfast and dinner and not any lunch most the time. Most of what We eat is cooked fresh and not processed food anyway and include a main course and vegetables. I don't use sugar or salt anymore anyway and that sure helps. Actually cooking real food usually doesn't involve that much time anyway and besides taste a lot better.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - I am a gym rat and I usually don't eat until I get back from the workout (except for sereral cups of coffee, of course). That could be 11 or close to noon...just depends on the workout.

Lt Col Charlie Brown COL (Join to see) Knowing what it in food probably BUT there may be an ulterior motive. We need to see where this goes and how to stop groceries for going up further. Caveats anyone?
