Fort Benning is putting on a Spartan Race with the help of the Rangers. So you know it is going to be good. But who of you out there is willing to come together and make a team to represent RallyPoint?

If you are willing to come down take part in the first Team RallyPoint event I am sure I can get you some of that sweet RallyPoint swag.

Let me know if you are seriously interested in this. If there is enough feedback we can get a team together! If there is a lot of those coming down for this event we might be able to put something else together in addition to the race.

Time to Spartan Up!

I'm not quite sure what a street team member is.

Unfortunately I have a race conflict for that weekend.

I have however done a Spartan Super before (as well as volunteered for a few Sprints), so I figured I would chime in.

1) Great Race. Just hands down a great environment. People and style.
2) Challenging. I'm what you would call an "affectionado" for Endurance Racing, with my primary distance being the Half (13.1 miles), but I do races or almost any distance between 5k to Full Marathon. The demands of this race in comparison to an equal distance run... Not even close, in a good way. The Super Distance (8-10 miles) was just as challenging as running a Full Marathin, just in different ways.
3) Be ready to do burpees. Probably the toughest thing you'll do. Although you can skip any obstacle you don't feel comfortable with (for whatever reason), some obstacles are "Pass/Fail." You'll get 1 chance and if you don't get it right, Burpees are your reward. Things like the Spear Throw are much harder than you think!!!
4) Get ready to get muddy! I can't emphasize this enough. Bring a towell and trashbags for your car. you've been warned.

But seriously, great race. If you can't run it for whatever reason, consider volunteering. Spartan usually offers free race entries for volunteers, as well as things like Hoodies (which are super nice).
