About

A live Q&A where U.S. military members and veterans discuss and evaluate Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT).

Open-source intelligence (OSINT) is intelligence collected from publicly available sources. In the intelligence community (IC), the term "open" refers to overt, publicly available sources (as opposed to covert or clandestine sources); it is not related to open-source software or public intelligence.

In the context of RP, the information should be military in nature, likely to be of interest to the intelligence community, vetted for source and veracity, and at a minimum, this implies at the very least, a preliminary look at the material before posting under this title.
