When did it become popular for US citizens to disrespect the flag and the country?

Is anyone else FED UP with these today who show zero respect for the US flag, for the nation, for law enforcement, for simple decency and respect?!? I'm sick of people walking on the flag, shooting at law enforcement, beating each other up in WalMart, and using their freedom of speech to utterly disrespect at the highest level our elected officials. Respect is a dying trait in our society. This day, I'm celebrating this country, this Army who defended her for 240 years, and demonstrating respect for the flag, and for others around me - even if they are different from me.
If we don't shape up, we won't have to worry about ISIS destroying us. We will eat each other up. Use FLAG DAY to show your pride in America. Do a random act of kindness for someone. Lift up Old Glory and Uncle Sam! Help shoulder the load!

It is our new culture of disrespect. It is not going to improve anytime soon. When those of more traditional views finally say stop and push back it will get uncomfortable, perhaps violent. Right now the overindulged are on a tear trying to breakdown any norms and disrespect key symbols of our Republic. They are people that think it is cool or hip to do this but they also would never survive outside of this country. They are mostly too stupid to take care of themselves.
We live in a graceless age. Respect for others, decency, of the law, of customs and courtesies is passé. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. We are now reaping what we have sowed.

When the politicians running it and the Professors teaching it spit on it and protested it rather than serving under it and Cherishing it.

I don't know but it needs to end soon and our government doing nothing and continuing to allow it to be protected by 1A is not helping matters.

Major, look at the citizens that are disrespecting our flag.... Half of them are 1st generation and the other half beleives its their right, the same group that want, want, and want but will not work, or become a productive member of our society... Fvk Them...
