One problem that has arisen is that civilians think ALL veterans have veteran plates on their cars. Not all do.

Would not be even a little bit surprised to learn that the person who wrote that note has never served.

What's worse is when someone who did serve tries to pull rank on you as a civilian. Some retired retired E7 tried to yell at my ex in a parking lot because she is disabled and has a placard and parked in a handicap spot. The E7 said he was handicap and a veteran (navy) and deserved the spot. My ex (who was about 24-25 at the time and pretty petite) has a lot of leg issues from a bad surgery and can barely walk. This happened about 300 miles from a military base.. at a walmart. Wish I was there, I would have told him to go fuck himself. lol

Nice comeback, shipmate. I hate people who just snipe outside parking lots trying to see if the person who is parked in a Vet's Only spot, looks like a Vet.
There no "Looks like a Vet" look.

Yep.....ol' Bernice (I named it, lol). She didn't like to work sometimes so we had to kick her in the butt to start doing what she's suppose to. I swear guys from Crane were out to the ship everyday; being CASREP Coordinator for EW systems in the SG, I saw her every morning and was like "Damnit, Bernice. Un-F*** yourself, shipmate!"
