There have been two mass shootings in the US in the past 24 hours.
When speaking to my mom about the state of our country, her automatic response was, “Satan is at work, let me tell you.”
A constant theme droned out on the loudspeakers of victim blamers, white supremacists, and the like, is, “Take responsibility for your actions!”
Okay, I’ll bite.
Let’s apply this precept to everything, shall we?
Even to the horrific, nightmarish refuse of Hell that the US has become.
Stop saying, “Satan is at work.”
Satan works, yes, but the evil you see? It only happens because of human participation. This isn’t just some mindless, complacent acceptance of a status of events we can’t change.
That’s bullshit.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel
"Many people in this world still believe Satan is alive and active today. If you would simply ask yourself, who, what, when, why, where, how, in the addressing of scripture your mind may open to new information.
Think about this, when Paul encouraged Timothy to publicly read scripture in 1 Timothy. Did you know this notion of scripture is not the New Testament?
It was in reference to the Old Testament canon that he was to teach, not the the New Testament.
As this for an example through out scripture the talk about the defeat of Satan is found in the context as you read along, ever since the beginning of GENESIS.
Now this is the scripture pertaining to the defeat of Satan,
Genesis 3:15
Luke 4:13
John 12:30
John 12:31
John 14:30
2 Thessalonians 2:8
Hebrews 2:14
1 John 3:8
Revelation 20:10
Done and defeated, away from ever reigning over the earth again."...

Satan was the one who tempted Eve. Having said that Satan is gleeful over the way so many of us forget that he is trying to win a war that the Bible says he has already lost. I do blame Satan for the ills of this earth. He got us to like our basest desires. Drinking to excess, pornography that saps the mind, drugs to weaken or resilience and make us weak. No, Satan doesn't hand things out but he does nudge people to disregard the truth of the Bible.

I’m afraid we can’t change it. Too many young have been brought up in our current society of “anything goes”. We are the past. We let the socialists and communists create a subculture that is going to be difficult to defeat. Even rational minded people like some portions of the dream these ideologies promise... and won’t denounce them completely
