I would like to know from those that have transitioned or are transitioning soon from the military.
Have you used Social Media sites in your job searching? If you have used something other than those listed please comment on which ones, as well as commenting on those listed and what your thoughts are on how they worked or didn't work for you.
Being an employer we see Social Media as an avenue, not the only one, but a viable one to use. I'd like to see if it has or hasn't worked for you.

CSM Michael Lynch, thanks for the post, I recently transitioned out the military in December and used LinkedIn. It was fully satisfying especially the premium version. I networked and found a job. It works!

I've used both Facebook and LinkedIn for my job searches and have found both of them to be useful tools. FWIW.

PO3 Richard Beasley LinkedIn, yes. I’ve had recruiters from more than one past job of mine reach out to me from there.

When I moved to Japan I had 6 interviews lined up, all using LinkedIn. Plus being military you can get a 12 month free premium membership.
