Arizona High School Boys Soccer Team Refuses to Play Against Team with Girls

Personally I think the religious argument is ridiculous, it's a sporting event not a church service. But I do think male/female sports should be kept separate. I will absolutely play pickup games with both, but when it comes down to going all out in a real game, I don't want to be responsible for injuring females. You can't wish away biological differences.

Good, don't play then, take the forfeit!

It sounds like the Faith Christian School's message to their students that the boys had an advantage would also have been upset if they played and lost. Better to forfeit and not have to endure any pesky questions about the validity of their doctrine.
