Have you heard about two Veteran amputees to undergo first ever prosthetic implants?

It had to happen. There are always a better way to do something. RP members keep these two guys in your prayers and minds, that this first ever surgery will work. I'm excited about this news because, If it does work, I have a nephew who lost his right leg at the hip, and this would an answer for him so he won't have to worry about his nub swelling and making it difficult to wear his prosthesis. Early next week, two veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom will undergo surgery at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center that could change their lives.
