VA to offer one-stop website for all veterans benefits. What is your opinion?
By the end of the year, all veterans will be able to use Veterans.gov to manage more than 350 benefit programs without having to switch websites, call multiple numbers or file large amounts of redundant paperwork.

hahaha. VA still uses a DOS based system. I dont see this happening in the near future

If it's anything like the other web sites from the Government, I don't see them being user friendly

By the end of the year? It is 2015...they could have had this months ago BUT when I initially filed, I did it on-line, uploaded all the files and checked back...and they had no record...None. The more you look the more you shake your head and wonder when someone is going to finally get tired and clean house?

My HealthVet site is wrong @ 25 % of the time.Can you imagine having every veteran and active duty person trying to access one common site.I have a military disability,diabetes,and rhumatoid Arth.I have been cut back to one visit per year.That may be how they are going to free up the site.

I just feel bad for our Korean War veterans, Vietnam-era veterans, Desert Storm/Desert Shield veterans, and pre-9-11 vets who have been shafted by the VA when trying to do their initial and follow-on VA claims. I’m truly thankful that the VA claim system has improved during my era, and I would never truly understand the frustration that some of our previous veterans have gone through. Without their lobbying of Congress to fix the system, I would have never been in this position. I’m truly grateful to all those past veterans who have addressed these issues.
