When applying to OCS, is there a one point waiver for an ASVAB score of 109?

GT 110 is never waiverable. Even when the Army was taking OCS candidates with only 60 SH of work, it was still a 110 GT. 110 GT is required for all commissioning programs, AMEDD, OCS, WOCS, etc. They all list GT as non waiverable.

All depends on the needs of the Army. If they are short Candidates, maybe, but I wouldn't count on it. A better choice would be to go to one of the study sites and study up on the test, then retake it and hopefully you will get a better score. I haven't heard the Army offering many waivers for OCS lately, with the exception of Age waivers.

Other thoughts: Ask about retesting, if possible, also, have you done OCS qual exams at all like AFOQT, that I had to do for USAF OTS? And, would you want grad school at all of you haven't started it yet? Look up also the intersvc PA program, if you hanpvemt seen it, run by Army at I think Ft Sam Houston, as well as the program to encourage enlisted who want medicine, it's intersvc also, I've seem YouTube videos on it, also, look up http://www.usuhs.edu, esp the USUHS grad school PhD programs, which can also be done as a civilian, I realize you're active duty now, I'm just explaining, also their grad school for nurses, up to doctoral level, though I realize that might not be your interest, as I'd said, elaborate in detail, I'll try to suggest other possibilities, if I can, OK?

No test for Army OCS these days, although I had to take one when I went though. Army PA school still requires you meet the requirements for an Army Officer, which means a GT score of 110. The best option is to take the ASVAB again. .

I follow, I just hadn't been sure, obv, if he can be allowed to redo ASVAB, that'd certainly be great, I've just found suggesting various other options, some lesser known, seem to occasionally be of interest, like USPHS COSTEP, sometimes, I've also found that trying to get more info tends to help in suggesting other possibilities, as well, esp in other svcs, if there might be any interest in trying those roues, as well....
