So I am going back in and have received an approved waiver from the Navy. While at MEPS today for my inspect I saw in my record that I had an additional DQ that was waived which was for withholding information.

After college I applied to Army OCS and was seeking a waiver for a previous VA diagnosis. I originally could not get my documentation from the VA and began the process without my medical documents. They told me they needed the documents so I kept pressing the VA and they finally sent my documentation. I then have it to them and applied for the waiver and it was not approved. Either way, I knew of only ONE DQ. Not one for withholding information, because that’s absolutely not true.

Either way the Navy approved my waiver and I’ll be back in soon. I just am not happy that I have this additional DQ on my record and can’t figure out why they think I withheld anything. I even have a VA sent document that stated they didn’t have my documentation. A few months later they “found” it and sent my long form medical record to me on a disk.

Either way I don’t like that this is on my record and would like to get it removed.

PO3 (Join to see) Sorry to tell you, but that will not be removed. No one other than big Navy will have access to that waiver. When you applied, you did not have all the required information ready for them, so they saw as withholding information. You're in, don't fight it.
