How do I get an exception to policy to join OCS with my 109 GT score got on my recent AFCT? Got 111 on the CL portion and 107 on the ST portion. I am a member of California National Guard.
Thank you.

Bottom line: retake the test and make above 110. Too many applicants that meet the standard for them to grant an ETP to someone who doesn't.

Sadly, I've been directed to grant a waiver for such when I was a Company CO. Someone got a 105ish and was directed by higher to submit the acceptance waiver as the receiving CO, but as I recall, I never eventually met the candidate after the fact. So maybe they didn't finish getting through all the other hoops.

Honestly ask yourself if you want the leadership that didn’t even meet minimum standards and did nothing to improve but got a waiver or do you want the guy who dug deep, studied, made an effort to excel and exceed the minimum standard, and made himself proud of the work he out in.

The ACFT is not an official test and points should not be held against you at this time.
As to your GT score on your ASVAB, you will have to retake the test (after 6 months) and achieve a higher score (above 110) to be eligible for commission. I am not aware of an ETP for ASVAB when commissioning. Please see below NG references (regulations applicable are listed on websites).
