I think every county probably had one of these farms, I use to down the road from the one in Van Buren County, Mi. it had been closed for quite a few years. Maybe they need to reactivate these sort of farms again.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth In the Midwest they were very common. Ohio had one in Every County. Texas and California they were less of a thing.
