All the true believers are with Him now. The last U.S. WWI vet died 10 years ago: CPL Frank Buckles died in Feb. 2011 at the age of 110. In addition to his WWI service, Buckles was a civilian contractor in the Philippines when the Japanese attacked there on 8 Dec. 1941. He was captured by the Japanese and imprisoned for more than three years. Talk about the luck of the Irish!
