Redesignated 16 June 1942 as Company B, 1st Battalion, 23d Quartermaster Truck Regiment. Reorganized and redesignated 7 January 1944 as the 3342d Quartermaster Truck Company. Inactivated 11 February 1946 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey. Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 3342d Transportation Corps Truck Company. Redesignated 6 March 1947 as the 2d Transportation Corps Truck Company. Redesignated 29 April 1947 as the 2d Transportation Truck Company. Activated 9 June 1947 on Okinawa. Reorganized and redesignated 10 April 1950 as the 2d Transportation Heavy Truck Company. Inactivated 22 March 1954 on Okinawa. Redesignated 11 June 1954 as the 2d Transportation Company.
