You should be! I've gotten to know many of the Chosin survivors (both Marines and army) through my membership in the Miltary Order of the Purple Heart. Sadly, so few are still with us . . .

My wife used to be a "rater" for the VA. She once asked me about frostbite ratings from this battle, so I took her to the Marine museum near Fort Belvoir. They have a nice exhibit.
