“I don’t have any friends. I don’t have any family. I’ve never had a girlfriend. I’ve never had a social life. I’ve been an isolated loner my entire life,” the note said, according to Sack. “This was the perfect storm for a mass shooter.” - St Louis Shooter.

MAJ Ken Landgren Pleaseee stop whining your embarrassing yourself and the uniform you once wore. Remember the words you swore “Support and Defend the Constitution” The 2d Amendment is still the law of the land. Figure out another solution. Your current approach ain’t work’in!

No actually they aren't absolute. Any government has the power to limit individuals freedoms - and they do it all the time even in the US.

We have restrictions on speech - laws against libel, slander, defamation and incendiary speech restrict freedom of speech and are imposed by the government. We have restrictions on when, where and how we can express ourselves.

4th Amendment - exceptions exist to this right like if an officer of the law has reason to think an "imminently dangerous situation" exists, he or she can invade a citizen's privacy.

You have the right to peaceful assembly but you can't block traffic doing it - that's a restriction on a right. The list goes on and on...

There's a reason they're called "Amendments." The Constitution was built to be changed as society changed.

It's amazing that the only "right" that certain people get up in arms about is the 2nd Amendment as if no other one exists but either way, they aren't absolute. Nothing in the Constitution is absolute. It never has been.

There are no amendment after the second amendment making it absolute sorry if you disagree. But the 2d Amendment is absolute as defined by the Supreme Court.

MAJ Ken Landgren - check the rank structure … I don’t take orders from subordinates.
If you would like to ask a question maybe I’ll give you the courtesy of a response. But I don’t take orders from you. Want to try again?

MAJ Ken Landgren On second thought you should just get some rest. A person as fragile as you (yes I read your dilemma) needs his rest. We will both be better off for it.
