Those with military or VA connections may not need to worry, but what about the rest of our families?

Luckily I am retired Navy in addition to receiving VA Health Care, so my wife and child use my Tricare. My daughter is also special needs, so she will most likely remain eligible for Tricare as my dependent for the rest of my/her life.

As to the rest of my fellow veterans in the situation you describe, maybe the failure of Obama Care will actually drive health costs DOWN or at least back to the level they were before the ACA?

God Bless your family! (I hope this isn't offensive? It's not meant to be.)

While my twin sons are still covered by my health insurance, in a few years after they complete college, it won't be long after that they won't. I also think about my brothers and sister, in laws, etc. and how this affects them.

Sarge, it takes a lot more than "God bless you..." to offend me! :)
At least I'm hoping my daughter will continue to be covered by Tricare after she is an adult. She is special needs like I said, but with therapy she is continuing to improve and become more "normal." She's high-functioning/non-verbal Autistic.

I'm in a fortunate position, my wife and I have Tricare. My daughter is covered thru her husband who works for a defense contractor. My older son is covered thru his employer and my youngest son is AD Marine Corps.

So, so far so good.

Lucky enough to have great insurance from my employer. They have always made health insurance their best benefit. They also promote a great wellness program. Employee health care was good last year they were able to cut our major medical deductible in half.
