What do people feel about military personnel putting up pictures of themselves wearing their military uniforms on dating sites?

I will admit to having met my bride of 10 years online. I actually met her just before I headed over for OIF, and I think we learned more about each other communicating back and forth than we would have over a year of "regular dates".

The real question is if its worse to post a picture of yourself in uniform, or telling the girl on the date that you may be deploying soon and you don't know if you will be coming home…

MAJ Jim Woods Back in your day...they called the dating site a bar...just saying (not that I know ANYTHING about that sorta thing...well, I've heard of them, maybe once...twice...possibly three times...then there was that place in Perth ...ooo ooo and then the place in Thailand! and that place in Korea..with the TEXAS street ... yeah! ....meh...so..maybe I've done some slight research at one time) Look, just cuz I might happen to have had the address, phone number of a few (read: every) bars and the associated mama-san in the Pacific theatre doesn't mean anything! It was pure scientific reseach!
