I'm scheduled to attend MIBOLC in November. I've met the prerequisites for attending the course, so I'm just counting down the days until November. A few months ago, HRC told me that many MIBOLC students get rescheduled due to not meeting the prerequisites and that I should call my Branch Manager to see if I could get into an earlier course. I followed that advice and sent my Branch Manager an email two weeks ago. I've called her everyday over the last two weeks but I do not get an answer. Does anyone have any advice or additional steps that may be helpful? Or, should I just suck it up and wait until November?

I guess that means I won't be seeing you at the Army Intel ball. Good luck, LT! Brush up on your Soviet Order of Battle (yes, they still teach that because so much of that stuff is still all over the world) and learn how to write a good OPORD Annex B.

I'll be at next years for sure. I started to get bored back home so I jumped on the opportunity to get here earlier. Thanks for the info. I'll look into that.

Call your branch OIC/NCOIC Sir, when all else fails they are your next step.

I concur with MAJ Carl Ballinger some branch managers are better than others and make sure you have the right POC. I've been fortunate to have some good ones for myself, but as an S1, I've had the misfortune of dealing with some bad ones on behalf of the Soldiers in my unit. Like 1SG (Join to see) mentioned, I would forward your previous email that you sent to the OIC, so they can see the email chain of how you attempted to make contact and had no response. Most managers respond within 3-5 days, even if it's a quick email to say they are working your issue and will get back to you.
