I was watching Glory this afternoon and it had me wondering: what military movie depicts the best leadership scene?

We were Soldiers Col. Moore "I will be the first one on the field and that last one off" and he stayed with his Joe's when the big wigs tried to pull him back. Now there's leadership!

MSG (Join to see) I couldn't agree with you more! Not only LTC Hal Moore's leadership but it was contagious to all his subordinate leaders. The movie was good but the book by far captured the leadership and brotherhood so much better.

CSM (Join to see) - I do have one question about the movie that has always bothered me. I have never seen the Brigade Commander walk point before and why would the Commander land in a less than secure LZ?
A more realistic scene was in "A Band of Brothers" when Winters resisted running in and taking over for Dyke because you can lead the Battalion and a Company at the same time.

Never a fan of leadership first off as leadership must maximize their ability to stay alive and lead.

Leaning toward the darker side of leadership I enjoyed Platoon. It was interesting seeing the fracture of the platoon between Barnes and Elias. I use that movie as an example when I see problems with PLs and PSGs not displaying a unity of effort.
