How many saw or heard about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq but felt like a flake because you were told there were no WMDs?

It was around the end of May, first of June 2003, I was in the V Corps Rear HQ when the message came in WMD was found. I know the messages were posted in the log, yet the new for years after said they weren't there. Finally in Nov 2014, Stars & Stripes finally came out saying the government covered it up and yes they were there.

This has always pissed me off. Did Saddam not gas the Kurds with WMD? So we knew he had them. Did he prove to the UN that any didn't have anymore? Did he show documentation that he disposed of them? So to say he didn't have WMD is just ignorant and insulting.
