Is there a way to switch commands during my first contract?

I'm an ET in the USN. This is my first contract and it is, 6 years. This October ill be half way through the 6 years, with 3 years remaining on my contract. This October also marks my 2 years in my first command.

I want to get more experience out of my first contract. My unit is very repetitive and not much is going on. Is there a way to switch commands ie. a horizontal shift in my career for my first contract?

For example if I'm in a Coastal Riverine unit can I switch to a support position for EOD?
