I have friend who was booted from the Service for a single but serious mistake. I would like to invite him to Rallypoint, but don't want to create an awkward situation if he can't be on here.

That is a tough question. I do not think Bowe Bergdahl would be welcome here with us. So in think the general answer would be no. But, a vetting process could be used based on how serious the offence was. Good people do bad things from time to time.

All Veterans are welcome. So long as we can verify his service, there is no reason he can't be on RallyPoint. We don't check how/why veterans were discharged and don't ask that this information necessarily be disclosed.

Here we go once again? did he do anytime in the military? CPT Laurie D. I love your answer and the way that you are thinking. I ask again did he do anytime in the United States Military and just what was he dishonorably discharged for? This is the real question? We should all be able to give clear concise opinions and should be up for serious discussion. That's all I have got to say.
