It has occurred to my that we are definitely moving towards having a more distance learning based PME system within all of the DoD.

Does anyone have a success story where they were able to enroll and complete a sister service's PME? Officer or Enlisted!

The Joint SNCO PME Is a great course, and I highly recommend it. Is there anything else out there?

Yes. In the 8os and 90s, I did a great deal of the PME offered by the Army Institute for Professional Development. I also completed PME offered by both the Air Force and the Navy. As a matter of info, in recent years I have completed PME offered by both the Air and Naval War Colleges (as a federal employee).

Yes, I did the DL Air War College. 5 years to complete, and I think I got it done in about 14-16 months. I'm now allowed to make "zoom" noises. :-)

Actually yes.

This was back in 2000~. I have Air Force & Army institute Distance Education Courses done (Intel Courses). I was able to contact the "Reps" provide my SSN, and order materials. I have the completion documents in my MCI folder. I've been trying to figure out how to get them added to my JST for about a year now.

Marine Corps Institute has a help line for Active Duty personnel, and I "believe" you get reserve points for completing them, but it's been years since I did any, so my information may be old.
