Prosecutors contend Mullaney, 44, cheated at least 13 people — many of them former Navy SEALs — by convincing them he was using their investment money to make loans.
Prosecutors say he actually spent it on a lavish lifestyle that included luxury cars and a Las Vegas gambling habit.

Of all the people... A$$wipe should be stripped of his veteran status for preying on his own. We're not cannibals we're supposed to look after each other not feast on each other!

Sailors rarely survived the keel-haul due to the risk of drowning as well as scouring the entire body with barnacles as the bounced along the keel causing lots of gashes and therefore blood loss.

Arrrr hang him from the highest mast or antenna! Keel haul him on a submarine at test depth!
Time for a sea story. I was on a submarine and we had a boat thief. We finally caught him red handed but this bleeeep bleeeepity bleeep Chief stepped in and told us we had to "handle it by the book". So he got before the CO at Captain's Mast and the Capt looked at him and said "You don't look like a boat thief, charges dismissed".
Guy thought he was untouchable. Next time (soon after) he was caught red handed and had a serious case of clumsiness as he fell up and down a ladder a few times. Then when he stood before the Captain again, the Captain said "NOW you look like a boat thief". He was busted to parade rest, lost all pay and benefits, did some brig time and got a dishonorable discharge.

Well, he is not homeless now, is he? Now all he has to do is write a book and pay the money back. He will have plenty of time to accomplish that.
With today's trends, it might even be a best seller if he titled it "How I screwed SEALS." Although I do not think PETA members would buy it.
