What a remarkable career. It would have been a pleasure to meet and know him personally. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in Peace Warrior and Hero. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to our Army and great nation. Salutes

CSM Michael Lynch Yes, I would say that is a sad piece of news to hear. RIP Col. Garten. His service is greatly appreciated. Prayers for his family and friends.
