What ways does the U.S. look to operationalise with India, as preferred trade partners?

US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin will meet his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh next week in India and discuss ways to operationalise the major defence partnership that the two countries have, according to a top Pentagon official.

Define operationalize.... they are already part of the Quad, they also participate in every major Multinational naval exercise in the USINDOPACOM AOR, not to mention their JRTC Rotations. If anything, we need to lessen our partnership with India and expand with Nepal, Thailand, Singapore since we spend a majority of our indopac budget on India just for them to buy Russian equipment....

SSG (Join to see), I know you are unaware that Pakistan uses terror modules trained by the ISI to infiltrate into India to cause unrest and violence; to incite people to become anti nationals and wage war against India from within India to disrupt and damage India. Pakistan has fundamental Islamic modules operating in India to recruit Indians, ferry them across into POK for training and then, launch them back into India as terror module leaders to disrupt and destroy. Funding for such activities comes through Hawala networks operating from the Middle East and Bangladesh. LeT was a known operative of the Indian Mujahedeen movement in India. LeT is based in Pakistan. India only attacks launchpads in POK to delay terrorism on it's soil.

A Lot of What I was involved with was "Signature" work understanding a Conglomerate Weapons systems from it's Signature (SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT). India always Made It Interesting. They Would Match Up Equipment in Amazing Ways that they Acquired from Many Nations, Some Our Allies, Others Not So Much. If I Saw a "Signature" that I Couldn't Make sense Of, It was Usually a Sure Bet it was an Indian Vessel. Where do India’s VEO’s primarily operate out of? Kashmir.... LeT, JaD, and JI all operate out of Kashmir. If India would just get over themselves and realize that the Kashmir region does not want to be part of India which they have made readily known for years now, LeT would probably stop blowing up Indian military vehicles that like to venture into the regionCPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana
