Does the AGR call to offer you an assignment, even if you’re about to ETS?

I’m in the Reserve with a 6 by 2 contract and ETS-ing on July this year and I was recommended by the AGR panel on February. I was told to either extend my contract or re-enlist, so they could give a call with an assignment. It is possible that they could call me, even though I’m about to ETS, or they could call me and recommend me to re-enlist or extend to proceed? And if I re-enlist or extend, would it increase my chances?

You should extend by 6 months so you have some breathing room...or reenlist into the IRR. Either way you dont want to ets if your plan is to go AGR. They can only offer you a job if you have 3 years remaining from the time you arrive on station.
