I have a question concerning UMR Area of Concentration. If a unit have you listed on the UMR in a different AOC but you have a secondary branch in that field. Do you need to submit a DA 4187? However, If the unit has that process, is there another way to change the AOC?

Sir, what is the AOC in question? What position are you setting in on the UMR?
UMR maintenance is typically done at the unit level, unless you are AGR. We don’t require a 4187 in my unit to change positions on the UMR

MAJ (Join to see) sir,
Your unit administrator should be able to go to RCMS, eMILPO and the PAG to find the correct checklist that will tell you exactly what to submit and the chain it will go up to be processed
