We watched as a few hundred Kurds opened safe corridors to allow their people escape violence. We witnesses their heroic efforts by a few hundred who defended Kobani against ISIS. We reveled as the Kurds got armed and grew an army of which the females carried grenades or saved a last round instead of being captured. We go into a partnership with Turkey and now they are bombing and burning Kurdish site, and we refuse to allow further arming of the Kurds. Where is our intelligence, our compassion, and understanding of people and humanity. I am sick to my stomach as we continue to make one mistake after another. The Turks bring nothing to the fight that is significant as it takes infantry to fight infantry.

Sir, we treated the Montagnards with the same disrespect. Will we ever learn?

Sir, I know you have to be pulling my leg. If not, they were our "friends" in Vietnam with a fighting heart as large as any ally we have ever had. http://cnnc.uncg.edu/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/montagnards.pdf

CPT (Join to see) I can tell you that their children who made it to the states make fine warriors too! The fact that we screwed them so badly an that any of them have an interest in serving in our military is amazing to me.

This is what happens when we have a POTUS from the hard left; sound judgment is replaced with an ideology that is self-defeating.

Capt Seid Waddell
MAJ Ken Landgren, that is because the POTUS and his cohorts have the emotional and rational development of teenagers; they appear to believe that if they say a thing sincerely it becomes the truth and their illusions become reality.
