Can someone receive unemployable, 100% compensation, and SS retirement benefits at the same time?

1) receive unemployable benefit AND Social Security retirement (at age 62), and 2) or does the veteran have to wait until age 67 to receive FRB from SS, and 3) does the unemployable benefit end when the veteran files for retirement benefits from SS?

You can receive both - they are completely independent of each other.
TDIU is situationally based, so it doesn't have an age limit on it*. If the veteran's condition doesn't improve to the point they could maintain 'substantially gainful employment", regardless of their age, then TDIU will remain in place.
If the veteran (in case it's not you) is rated as TDIU from the VA, is there a reason the individual didn't apply for SSDI from the SSA?

Colonel, there are some (me included) that didn't have current work credits, which are needed for SSDI but not for SS retirement.

I Was In Business For 27 Years....And They Were NOT Incorporated, SO I Was The Sole Owner....I Having The Proper Knowledge, I Set It Up To Do As Everyone Does...And I Paid Very Little In Income Tax NOR Social Security, That Was Good AND Bad.... i got the 100% and shortly after inquired about ssi and was told i did not have enuff credits(?) but i could not work so wats the answer ?

To add to this one must be total and permanent status to get expedited treatment from SSA in processing SSDI claim.

SPC Mike Blanks You must have at least 40 credits to be what is called "insured status" to process your SSDI claim otherwise you are S.O.L. meaning no SSDI for you. If you are TDIU rated then you can't get SSI as SSI is a means test program and TDIU is current $3700 you wouldn't qualify.

I get SSDI because I am a crazy f@cker. If I died today, would my wife get benefits from the Social Security Administration?
