No and you'll find it's probably harder and more paperwork and tests and you'll have to be more flexible than when you initially joined. You'll need to see a prior service recruiter for the branch you're trying to get into.

No, a recruiter still has to process the individual. Additionally as a prior service the rules are different hence USAREC Buisiness Rules are in effect! What are Buisiness rules? The guides tha address how prior service prospects are handled back into active duty. It varies by rank and MOS; meaning you can come back (or not) and possible reclass! Again, the person needs to go. Y a recruiting station.

They miss go through a Recruiter to come onto active duty. As stated, many prior service personnel find it a pain to come back in because from my experience in USAREc, they feel they know the system now and are owed something. If they held a critically short MOS while they were in, the Army most likely will not allow them to reclass.

This definitely can makes things challenging if someone was looking for a bonus or a new job.
