I never went past Linear Algebra (part I) nor have I dove into QM or string theory all that much. I do see where you may be driving though. Sounds a bit like fractal math as well. I'll try to get through all the links you left. I honestly don't know how much help I can be but it still sounds along the lines of my interests!
