Am I the only person that is happy about the new PT uniform?

Since I arrived at my new duty station, I have heard several SMs discussing the new PT uniform. Some of these discussions have been in passing, and I did not even know them. But I am surprised that the vast majority are against the new look. What are your thoughts?

This uniform must have been influenced by the company that makes PT belts...black? But out of curiosity, isn't the "V" on the uniform reflective enough...still need PT belts? funny.

I like the shells; not wild about what goes underneath. That shirt is like wearing a rubber sheet.

Looks Dumb, at the Manadatory PT belt and it looks dumber than before. If you need a PT belt why did you go with black to begin with?

Hopefully they won't do the Air Force "swish swish" sounds..... Air Force upgraded (for a fee) to microfiber so no longer makes the swish swish, but the old ones are still out there!

Why are leaders still forcing Soldiers to use the reflective belt? It was my understanding the yellow was reflective! I understand maybe for the summer uniform !

I like the new pt uniform. The material is lighter, and the black shirts hide unsightly sweat stains that accumulate over just a couple months in hot environments.

It is not something I look forward to purchasing or wearing. I am also not in a hurry to change into the new Multicam or scorpion uniform in 2018.

Frankly, I think the old PT uniform is unbroken, and didn't need repair. The new one does reflect Army colors, but that is about it.
