Special assignments? Well, there's BLC instructor, Air Assault Inst, Combatives, Desert Warrior, Tax Center, etc..Bliss is always looking for people to work at the welcome center. :))
Focus on getting your NCO first, be on the line for a year or two then worry about special assignments later. You don't want to become an NCO while doing those special assignments then when you go to the line, you're an ate up NCO who doesn't know squat about leadership. If you came to me like that, I'm going to have an issue with it.

They do have a detachment at Bliss. You should go tobtgere website to find a POC and ask directly what the requirements are. Other than that nothing special. There are however some great units. Thank you for your service.
