We’re on a Mission to help Veterans, Active Service Members, and their Families! Bottom-line, we have a great program and need everyone's help - simple as that! We’re not to proud to ask for help!
1. We are looking for veterans or active duty service members with PTSD or TBI that want to join the "confidential" Pilot Program. This program is not tied to the VA.
Here is a link to our newsletter for more information about the services: https://www.smore.com/x19ep
2. In addition, I would like to know if you would be interested in participating (Confidentially) or volunteering to help veterans with PTSD, TBI, and Disabled Veterans through an online Virtual Pilot Program. We are looking for individuals with all types of qualifications. If there is some interest to help please contact me at the email listed below (or).
If you are interested in either of the above and would like to attend a demonstration first, we are conducting them on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM EST. Please go to this link: http://www.sponsoravet.life/#!webinar-/dxphe

I am back on RP full time again!! Will be spreading the word around more about Sponsor A Vet Life. I experienced it firsthand and all I have to say is WOW!! The possibilities are endless here. From going and shopping, to watching a movie with your kid whose in another state or country. You can even get a college education in a practical classroom setting within this 3D Virtual Reality World! This is an awesome idea and needs to definitely be spread around this nation to our Veterans that need somebody to turn to.

Most definitely separated.
My wife is in Canada, my daughter is in AZ, older son is spending it with his girlfriend and her family. My youngest son, AD Marine is deployed overseas, Skyped with him this afternoon. And i'll be working a 12 hr shift, i drew the short stick. We will all talk on the phone or Skype at some point tomorrow.
I bought a couple pre-made Thanksgiving meals for me and the dog. :-)
Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, where ever you may be.

COL Burroughs, Yes Sir; Overseas in a foreign country, in harms way, some wounded (hospitalized), ALONE.. This is exactly why our Active Military is paid so much money, and shown so much respect upon their return home.. This is why the VA is so happy and so helpful to our Veterans who request their help.. This is why our Politicians always ask for financial donations.. they know that we are/were over-paid and that we have sacrificed our lives for a pleasant walk-in-the-park, while they shut down the Government!!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs that is very kind of you sir and it is appreciated. We did get to talk to him early today (as he is 8 hours ahead) and he is well. Sad to have him gone but what an honor to have another family member serving. My middle son is now interviewing for a jag position. Thank you again for your kind words and Happy Thanksgiving to you!

First 3 years of our married life, I missed everything from AUG-MAR, including my wife's birthday. That was when snail mail and an occasional phone patch for 2 minutes were the norm. In some ways it was easier then than my last deployments in the early 2000s. Then you had to turn everything over to the local ground commander vs. the pressure to manage 2 locations you get with web cams etc. You learned quick not to complain when you got home if you wanted the marriage to work. Oh, you don't get any bonus points for shipping your wife up to Adak and then taking off to Cali on your own either. Fortunately it was only for a week or so but it was the thoughtlessness that counted. Being on orders doesn't seem to be much of an excuse.
