Are you satisfied with the choices you have in the 2016 presidential race?

Not thrilled with either, but Clinton is counting on Republicans not voting at all. I requested my ballot.

Worst choices in my lifetime and have been relegated to vote against hillary instead of voting for someone I respect.

Third party options. They exist. Stop tossing your vote into the sea of crap which is the corporate parties.
Yeah, a third party candidate likely will not win this election unless people finally wake up to their existence and stop falling for the purposefully false dichotomy presented by the two corporate parties which are really after the same things, just for slightly different private beneficiaries. Then again, third parties will never stand a chance of pushing past the lockout created and maintained by the Democrats and Republicans unless people start voting for them.
Find a third party candidate you can respect and vote for them!

I like the third party idea, but the thought of hillary getting elected because I voted my conscience...

Go Green, Walt. My biggest problem with their platform is their stance on nuclear power.

It is what it is. The party members of each state had a chance to vote (except for the poor folks in Colorado) and have selected their candidates. You can blame the outcome on a poor turnout by a lazy voter population (democrats), a biased media, manipulation of the campaigns by big money, party insiders and their highly undemocratic super delegates, or an up-swell of votes by the ignorant masses (republicans). Either way, we semi-democratically, selected a known crook, with poor judgement and anger issues and a Billionaire, real-estate mogul/TV star. The unpleasant truth is many of our current voters are ignorant, ill informed, easily mislead, and shallow. So, in the end America gets what it deserves.

I've never seen anything this bad before Cpt and I go back to Truman vs Dewey campaign. And Republicans Elites mocked Truman for not being very sophisticated. But those who worked hard with their hands and carried rifles at one time or another for these elites voted for Truman .

There are a lot more on the plate than just those two. Just because the mainstream media ignores that fact does not mean that Democrat and Republican candidates are the only ones vying for the job.

Hillary needs to be placed in Prison and Trump should stick to reality TV and Building stuff. Of the two Trump is a better option. At least he hasn't had anyone killed or caused anyone's deaths. To be honest we need meteor 2016 or a zombie apocalypse at this point. I think the world population needs thinning so people can get back to the basics of surviving. There is to much time on to many peoples hands and they are using it for really dumb purposes.

Of course not. Huge egos on both sides...an uncharged criminal corrupt egomaniac or a ridiculous braggart businessman egomaniac. Definitely a lesser of two evils election. HRC has proven time and again she hates the military, she hates anyone with integrity, and she is willing to break any rule, any law, to serve her own interests. So for me, she is the greater evil.

More unsubstantiated accusations. More rumor. Hillary was not my first choice, but she is far better than Trump.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Maybe look at voting for Jill Stein instead? She's an actual presidential candidate for the Green Party and has genuine positions close to what Hillary Clinton plays at having (let's face it, Hillary is really a neoconservative, just like her husband) yet she doesn't have that whole stigma of being bought and paid for by foreign governments and the billionaire's club here at home. She's a far better option for your vote than the shit shows from either of the corporate parties.

SSG John Gillespie - You may be correct, but as in the past, I think voting for a 3rd party candidate is a wasted vote. Taking a vote away from Hillary is the same as giving a vote for Trump (and vice-versa). I would really like to see a 3rd, and even a 4th party become competitive, but they are not,, so far anyway.

MSG Stan Hutchison - That's a false equivalence you are holding onto. 100-1≠100, just as 100+0≠101.
Further, 3rd parties will never become viable without increased voter support, just as the Democrat and Republican parties will maintain their stranglehold on the process so long as they maintain the illusion that they are the only viable options. You may believe that a 3rd party vote is wasted, and it may well have little to no effect on the outcome of this election cycle, but the goal of making those parties viable in terms of voter turnout so that they can demand fair coverage on the national stage is the point. The Democrat and Republican parties have effectively locked out any other parties or independents from competing for the presidency, and we continue to collectively allow it based on reasoning such as you have shared here.
If you cannot, in good conscience, vote for a candidate put forward by the major (corrupt and corporate-for-profit) parties, then your options are to:
A) Abstain in protest (your vote here is literally wasted and your opportunity to add to collective power in any fashion is missed)
B) Vote for a Democrat of Republican anyway (play the corporate shell game of which way to get screwed by them rigging the election process for their joint benefit, as you are intended to do)
C) Vote for a 3rd party candidate (add your vote to a meaningful process for change in the current system, helping to sway the vote of others over time into regarding the 3rd parties as viable options for restoring sanity and integrity to our federal government and thus helping to break the political lockout which currently exists)
It's really not a hard choice: You will either continue supporting corporate corruption and subversion of our government or you will not. The time to decide is fast approaching.

I think the problem is that we actually believe these candidates and put too much expectation in them. They are just people and will do what they want when they get into power. Then we blame them when things do not go our way or when our expectations are not met. To me they are just people who are looking out for their own agenda....4 years and a paycheck for the rest of their lives.

Sgt Tom Cunnally, this is the worst Presidential slate I've encountered since I became a registered voter.
