Sunni groups supporting the Islamic State have training camps in Turkey. Why are the Turks & NATO allowing this to happen!?! Why isn't the Obama Administration leadership more aggressive against Islamist Extremist? What can we do to stop Sunni or Shiite (Iranian) Indoctrination?
As a pejorative term, indoctrination implies forcibly or coercively causing people to act and think on the basis of a certain ideology.

LTC John Shaw, that's been going on for years. Those kids are indoctrinated early in life. That's why they don't give a second thought in beheading or chopping up. Another human. But, I looked this up, and this is what our POTUS thinks.

SGT (Join to see) Hmmm...Ok, still looking for answers on how to stop indoctrination to murder but I get your point. What do you think the policy should be?

LTC John Shaw, IMO, The only thing I can come up with, is to chop off the head of the snake(s) in charge of ISIS. Everyone knows that, except IMHO, our POTUS. There aren't many countries that are willing to take on ISIS without U.S. involvement. There is no way to stop ISIS from indoctrinating those boys, unless the U.S. gets serious about wiping out ISIS completely. I heard on the news, yes the news on TV, that ISIS is Ten Million strong now. That's like a country. Have we waited too long to do something? Those boys, that country, and others in that region, are in deep Doo Doo. I don't see anyway of stopping ISIS the way things are going now.

ISIS = Sunni Al Qaeda = Shi'ite The conflict between them doesn't have anything to do with religion or how it is interpreted. It has to do with a power struggle between the two groups over who should be the ruling authority. The descendants of the prophet Mohammed or the followers of Abu Bakr (trusted advisor to Mohammed). How can you end indoctrination? Difficult question to answer. Generations of indoctrination make it a part of their culture. My answer will not be popular but I think the only way to get this type of change is through total oppression for multiple generations. An oppression that would need to last until the currently indoctrinated generations are no more.

CPT (Join to see) I think you are correct. Perhaps we may have to stay engaged for multiple generations, like at Korea, Japan, Germany, etc. We still have forces on the ground and we forgot that we are still engaged, 70+ years. Help shape the education programs and policies.

With a full-on decimation of the training camps. Yes, I do understand that this means the death of children. Horrible that this scenario should even be a reality.

In remembrance of Barbie, I say we all listen to Barbie Girl by Aqua for the next hour or so. Everyone will be so peeved that ISIS will not stand a chance.
