Sunni groups supporting the Islamic State have training camps in Turkey. Why are the Turks & NATO allowing this to happen!?! Why isn't the Obama Administration leadership more aggressive against Islamist Extremist? What can we do to stop Sunni or Shiite (Iranian) Indoctrination?

As a pejorative term, indoctrination implies forcibly or coercively causing people to act and think on the basis of a certain ideology.

LTC John Shaw I think the only way to stop such the horrid practice of one Islamic State from establishing their own version of Islam is from within. Ultimately, I think we can fight and fight to stomp out this sort of oppression and distortion of reality, but at the end of the day our efforts just provide motivation or feeds into their cause. It is a vicious self-energizing circular process that continues to this day. The war of the “hearts and minds” is a key component of this fight currently and will be for years to come. We have to change perceptions and start winning the war of information management perhaps that will drive our allies or political acquaintances to destroy this behavior for good. We can defeat the “bad guys,” but as we have seen more just rise up and take their place.

CW3 (Join to see) Waiting for the Islamic 'reformation' similar to our 1648 Peace of Westphalia where at least the concept of separation of church and state was formalized in Treaty form and accepted by most the European powers.
Seems like the Shiite and Sunni want to fight more before this can happen.

It's a long article - I scanned it. To me, it's very sad to see adults manipulating children for their own purpose - that's the really sad part for me.

CMSgt Mark Schubert It is a long read...bottom line, we are not doing the right things to stop indoctrination sponsored by ISIL, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, etc.
We need to insist on respect for life at the minimum. Perhaps something as minimalist as a statement against genocide. Hamas, Hezbollah both advocate for genocide of all Jews, this is outrageous! Of course, Iran is funding this everyday...

I really don't think "we" know what those "right things" are - I wish "we" did.
>We need to insist on respect for life at the minimum.
To me, I see this pro-life thing becoming more of a minority along with the many other cultural shifts we have experienced lately - which certainly do not help to generate solutions to the problem in you OP, Sir.

We're at fault for what we create and put on television and movies, bad images can brainwash anyone to become a nightmare to society.

MSG Floyd Williams I can't agree that we are at fault. Nothing out of the US supports this type of indoctrination... I can agree that we can do better culturally to remove violence in our society.

LTC John G Shaw . . . Sir, I understand what you are saying, after all a lot of our movies is viewed overseas too. It was said that Saddaam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden had their own personal stash of movies, this what the NEWS Media broadcast if is true or not I don't know.
