Can I bring my own running shoes to basic training?

I was told they issue you pretty shitty running shoes that will potentially injure you or something of that accord, the shoes I plan on taking are brooks running shoes , they are solid black color so it wouldn’t throw off the uniform cohesion.

The Best Quality Of Clothing & Equipment I've EVER Had
Was Issued To Me In The Military..... Although They May Not LOOK Sporty Enough,
They Do The Job Well...And Wear Like Steel....Although I'm Now At 80, I've Never Found Better,
At ANY Price....
