Can I Get Feedback For a PMI Slidedeck for the new M4/Rifle Qualification I Had to Teach?
I was recently charged with conducting a PMI for a BN-level range utilizing the new qualification standards (TC 3-20.40). I was told specifically to cover the new qualification and not to worry about the basic Rifle PMI material, as that should be conducted at CO level. I ended up making my own powerpoint to cover only that, as I couldn't find any other slide decks online.
Everyone that attended the PMI said that it was "the best PMI I've had to attend" (Or some variation thereof) but didn't provide any actual, concrete feedback. I'd like to both a) Share the product if anyone needs it and b) Ask for any suggestions to make the material better. Specifically for the material/instructions, not so much the aesthetics/appearances, which I'll be cleaning up over the holidays (Was given a 72hr heads-up). Should there be more notes on the presentation, different graphics used, something I should include, etc? I should have recorded the presentation itself.
The presentation was accompanied by live demonstrations of transitions, reload techniques, etc. and followed by a practical exercise, where all participants were required to wear their kit and practice the reloads/transitions with empty mags and an M4 a few times, competing for fastest times.
Edit: For clarification, the unit being instructed is an MI unit, not combat arms.

It looks pretty solid. I wouldn’t do too much as far as cleaning up the format besides adding a header- you don’t want the slides to look too busy or have elaborate animations that distract from the content. Maybe add a slide showing the wooden structure and going into a bit more detail about how that’s used, especially if you’re instructing support personnel. Aside from that, I’d keep it as is.

Thank you for the feedback, SFC Peck! That's a good point about having a stand-alone image of the barricade, so I don't have to rely too heavily on the demonstration video at the end. It'll definitely be in the V2.
