Before I joined the Navy I was overseas in Japan with my father, Misawa AFB. I did my Navy physical at the hospital and there where Navy Corpsman working. As a HM how do I get attached to and AirForce base?

My old squadron HSC-25 had a corpsman attached to the medical office at Andersen AFB in Guam. They did mostly flight deck physicals and the like.

Even if you were able to, it would only be for a term. If that is where you want to go, finish up your tour and cross services. Never be afraid to seek out change to chase after something.

I was attached to the AF because my husband was in and he got his orders first and I was due to deliver our daughter so I was allowed to follow

be an AVT its an 8406 or something like that they specialize in flight physicals and medical records. its a terrible job if you ask me, but that's how youd have any chance of being stationed on an airforce base aside from choosing those orders before PCS of your current command.

You have to have a NEC like AVT or APT or just be really lucky most of the time the clinics are just satellites to a hospital
