Yes, I just had another senior moment (brain fart). When I took out the garbage and the recyclables, I also took along the reusable grocery bags and a box of Kleenex to put in the car. Well, my hands were full and I put the Kleenex in the shopping bags to have one thing less to carry. All I had to do was remember to take the Kleenex out of the bags before I put them in the car so that I could put them in the passenger compartment. I put the garbage in the garbage bin and the recyclables in the recyclable bin. So far, so good. And when I got to the car I remembered to take the Kleenex out of the grocery bags. Then I threw the Kleenex in the trunk and the bags in the passenger compartment. Are you paying attention? If you're a veteran of a certain age, you may have missed it.

Yes, I've reached that age where I'm concerned with the hereafter. I frequently find myself standing in front of the refrigerator or pantry wondering, "What the hell am I hereafter?"

Are you there yet?

Ya, I like looking for my reading glasses when they're on the top of my head! And how about the keys to the car? And what the hell are my kids names again?

I'm not that bad. I can remember my kids' names. Just don't ask me about their birthdays...

Capt, I got five kids and ten grand-children. It's not that I don't remember their names, it's a question of who is who, if you know what I mean? lol

It's not exactly qualified as senior moments, but I'm known for putting my phone down in the fridge when I go to grab something quickly. Or walking around looking for my phone... While having a conversation on it!

Yeah. I was taking out my veggies for my fritata this morning and couldn't find the onion (that was already in my hand). Now, isn't it funny that I can remember that?

I hate it when that happens and I'm on the podium... so I either quickly play it out or I end up looking like a powered down robot staring at the floor trying like hell to remember what it was... I usually remember it later speaking on a totally unrelated topic! LOL!

Practice makes perfect. Keep working on it and you'll be an old fart like the rest of us (if you're lucky)

I think I've got early onset. This happens to me all the time and I'm only 41!
